Xylexpo 2010 attracted 51,480 trade visitors, 48% coming from abroad.
As far as international visitors are concerned, significant numbers were from Eastern and EU Countries – France, Germany and Spain folowed by Switzerland, Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey and Romania.
In terms of “macro-areas,” EU members represented 53 percent of the total, followed by non EU Countries with the 21 percent of visits.
A good role played the area of South America, in particular from Brazil (43 percent).
VISITOR PROFILE
The visitor survey conducted after the show on a sample of 9,900 visitors, of whom the e-mail addresses were at disposal, revealed that 94 percent of the business people who visit Milan were satisfied or partially satisfied with the displayed offer and that the 93 percent were satisfied with the results achieved by visiting the event.
Both figures confirm Xylepo as a platform for doing business and seeing the latest trends and developments that’s able to guarantee exhibitors an enthusiastic audience of experienced professionals.
