The eight new pavilions, including six single-level and two double-level facilities, cover a total area of 345 thousand sq.m. (3,714,000 sq.ft.), offering 200 thousand sq.m. (2,153,000 sq.ft.) of net exhibition space. In addition, the complex offers 60 thousand sq.m. (646,000 sq.ft.) of outdoor areas.
Highly functional, each pavilion can be divided in two to host separate exhibitions. The entire venue can therefore be divided into 20 independent exhibition areas, each measuring ten thousand sq.m. (108,000 sq.ft.).
Plus, all the pavilions are air-conditioned, fully cabled, and equipped with the latest building automation solutions. The pavilions flank a 1.3 kilometer (0.8 mile) raised roadway, coved by a 47 thousand square meter (506,000 sq.ft.) steel and glass sail, which forms the architectural symbol of the complex.
Also located along the central roadway are service structures, restaurants, showrooms, and other facilities. It connects the two main visitor entrances, located at either end, and the pavilions, all of which have reception areas and meeting rooms that can be used simultaneously by different events.
