France is the first foreign country for number of visitors registered at the last show in Milan. A result dictated in part by the factor of geographical proximity, but mostly tied to a relevant dimension of the market.
In fact, in 2013, the country was ranked sixth in the markets of importing machines for woodworking; Germany was the first country provider with over 120 million euro; in second place was ranked Italy with over 70 million.
France is also in the "top ten" among furniture manufacturers worldwide: well 7.9 billion euro is the value of the products produced in 2013. Discrete quantity of furniture are also exported; if we consider only the wood, the value of outflows consistently exceeds 500 million euro per year.
Analyzing the production of the panels, in French territory were made products to 5.7 million cubic meters; worldwide it is the tenth largest producer.
