FOCUS ON GERMANY

Germany is the European country which has the best economic dynamics in this period.
The GDP in 2014 grew by 1.6%, a rate over the EU average and unemployment is below five percentage points.
The downside is the level of inflation still consistently below 1% and still far from normal conditions. For Xylexpo is an extremely interesting market; at the 2014 edition Germany was the third European origin country for visitors. 
Relative specifically to the sector of woodworking, the German territory has a huge forest resources.
 In 2013 53 million cubic meters of wood log have been used; numbers that are worth of the thirteenth position worldwide.
Germany is also a great consumer of woodworking technologies. In 2014 it was imported machines for a value of 388 million euro from China and Italy.
Added to this is the consumption of domestic technology that is tremendously important for German country.
