Description: Brief biographical note Michael Privileggi was born in Parenzo, in the beautiful Istrian peninsula the 12 of April 1944 and after some stormy stories, in 1947, the family forced to the exile is sheltered in Turin. Curious teen-ager, with the suggestions of the elder brother he begins to play, to draw and to paint; in 1960, he started to go to artistic professional courses and after the school-leaving examination, with masters Guido de Bonis and Ponte Corvo suggestions, Privileggi discovers the sculpture, that it will become his dominant passion. Privileggi lives in Leinì (Turin) in his study-house, where to satisfy his innate curiosity, he draws, models, carves woods, stones and metals, experimenting the most disparate techniques.He has realized original and eclectic works, monuments, furnish-sculptures, stained-glasses, dreaming about wood, stones, bronze and other materials, included the film... the TV-series " Trip of wedding ", directed by Raffaele Meloni, turned in his study by the Swiss television. Privileggi has taught to the One 3 of Leinì (Turin) some elements of the sculpture and the incision technique .. Since 1978 He has introduced his works in more than one hundred collective and personal shows.
