Dear Exhibitor,

as you know, following the emergency caused by the outbreak of Covid-19, our exhibition, initially scheduled from 26 to 29 May this year, has been postponed to November 10-13.

This decision was taken responsibly last February, in view of the situation that was developing in terms of sanitary and economic emergency, a scenario that, unfortunately, has become true, as we all know.

Just as responsibly, we have now decided to send you this letter to ask for your confirmation to attend, to communicate possible changes to your exhibition area, or any other decision.

From 10 to 13 November, Xylexpo will be a sort of "post-crisis event" and "the first exhibition in 2021", with a very different concept and layout compared to our traditional event, perhaps covering a smaller exhibition area, but with a more practical approach and the determination to show that our industry, in spite of everything, is active, lively and ready to display the best of technological evolution.

Probably, the event will be centered around an extensive use of digital media to connect an exhibitor's factory to their booth, and consequently to the visitors, providing them with direct insight, very close to "the real thing" in a wide range of technology segments. The final decision will be up to each exhibitor, who can choose a conventional booth or project themselves into a digital future: whatever their decision, we are confident that Xylexpo can show the direction to a new concept of exhibitions, while having the support and valuable contribution of the big groups of the Italian industry.

We also have the pleasure to inform you that, notwithstanding the General Regulation of the exhibition and the agreement between exhibitor and visitor, the companies that reply within the deadline given hereunder, in case of cancellation, will be entirely refunded of all advance payments executed so far, with the only exception of administration fees and with no interests. In case a reduction of the exhibition area is requested, the final payment will be adjusted accordingly.

If a retiring exhibitor decides to leave the paid amount to Cepra as a deposit for Xylexpo 2022, a 5% discount will be granted on participation fees. Such discount will also be granted to the exhibitors who confirm their participation in 2020.

With this extraordinary measure, we let exhibitors free to decide about their participation, which should not be an obligation, but an opportunity to be part of a showcase where all industry players collaborate with dedication and commitment to offer customers and visitors with the best opportunities for selection and information.

After the difficult period we are going through, we are confident that this context will be a great opportunity for professional and personal interaction and friendship, and an anticipation of new economic growth. A starting point to relaunch our action to achieve new targets and success for everyone.
